At FruiTea Bubbles Café, community has always been at the center of our story. When we opened our doors on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day in 2022, our vision was simple: create a space where people could gather, enjoy a refreshing drink, and feel a sense of belonging.
Like many small businesses, we faced challenges in figuring out how to grow while staying true to our mission. In early 2024, we connected with the Urban League of Greater Atlanta, and that partnership has been a turning point for us.
Through their mentorship, resources, and connections, the League gave us the foundation to strengthen our operations and think strategically about the future. Their support opened the door to capital, offered practical tools for growth, and encouraged us to explore opportunities we might not have considered on our own.
The result has been transformative. Instead of just keeping pace, FruiTea Bubbles Café is now building a scalable, community-rooted brand that is thriving. The guidance we’ve received has given us the confidence and capacity to pursue expansion while staying grounded in the values that inspired our business in the first place.
