Lisa Lindsay, the founder of FruiTea Bubbles Café, inherited a love for teas and fruitful Caribbean drink mixes from her parents, who migrated to the United States from England by way of Jamaica and Antigua. Her parents raised her to appreciate her British-Caribbean roots, and traditions such as daily tea time were an integral part of Lisa’s upbringing.

In the mid-2000s, Lisa often found herself in her kitchen hosting friends and mixing drink ingredients from around the world to create unique smoothie blends and pressed juices. Her drinks grew in popularity, and soon, the people in her community began ordering pitchers of her mixes for parties and events. In 2021, the opportunity to open a tea shop arose. Merging her family’s influences with Atlanta’s growing bubble and boba tea market, FruiTea Bubbles Café was formed.

Lisa is a long-time resident of Cobb County, Georgia. She is a lifetime member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and a mother of two daughters. Lisa has a passion for community, people development and entrepreneurship.
